We’re dedicated to expanding the conversation about mental health with hopes of reducing stigma and normalizing the conversation. mental health affects our physical health and spiritual health. They all work hand in hand and when going unchecked can create a whirlwind of issues. We have over 8 years of experience in the field of mental health in psychiatric inpatient, community services boards, outpatient substance abuse, school, community-based and non-profits. we attempt to use our expertise so that we may not just help individuals and be a voice but also a resource for policy makers, community efforts and federal initiatives.
We also enjoy working on efforts to decrease mental health STIGMA in the African-American community by normalizing mental wellness, stress and identifying traumatic issues. WE REALIZE AFRICAN-AMERICANS HAVE BEEN SEVERELY DEPRIVED ACCESS TO ADEQUATE MENTAL HEALTH CARE AND WE WANT TO CHANGE IT!
